믿음의 행사
많은 성도들이
영적 전쟁을,
어쩌다가 빠져버린
사람에게만 해당하는,
선택사항이라 믿고 있다.
사단을 홀로 내버려 두면,
사단도 우리를 내버려 둘 것으로
오해하는 것이다. 그러나
교회는 이 악하고 잔인한 놈과
필사적인 전쟁을 치르고 있다.
"음부의 권세가
이기지 못할 것이다.
내가 천국 열쇠를
너희에게 줄 것이다."
우리는 천국 열쇠를 받았다.
사단을 이길 권세를 가지고 있다.
그러나 그 권세를 사용하는 대신,
우리는 그것에 대해 얘기하고,
그것에 대해 노래하고,
또 큰 소리로 그것을 외치되,
그 권세를 행사하지는 않는다.
우리에게 권세가 있음을
믿는 것만으로 충분하지 않다.
우리는 그것을 행사해야만 한다. - 딘 셜만
Many Christians believe that spiritual warfare is optional
- for those who happen to be "into" such things.
They mistakenly think that if they leave the devil alone,
he'll leave them alone. But the church is in a real war.
It's a desperate, life-and-death struggle
with a cruel and vicious enemy.
"The gates of Hades will not overcome it.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven"
We've been given the keys of the kingdom
- we truly have authority to overcome the enemy.
Instead of using that authority, however, we talk about it.
We sing about it. We proclaim it loudly.
But we don't exercise it.
It's not enough to believe we have authority.

불신이라고 합니다.
진정한 믿음의 의미는
우리에게 주신 권세를
행사하는 것입니다.
